Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to find the lyrics (in Greek) for Kaitsis and other Rembetiko songs? I apologize for posting in English, my Greek is good enough to read but not yet to write! So you can respond in Greek.

I checked the Βάση Δεδομένων Ρεμπέτικων Τραγουδιών. I did not find Καϊκτσής lyrics (though I did find the .mp3 file, thank you!) ... Also I checked www.kithara.gr which is wonderful! But also it does not have Καϊκτσής ...

In the song Καϊκτσής is the Γκιουζέλ-Χανούμ that which is called in English books the "Gulhane", the cliffside rose garden of the Ottoman sultans?

I understand the sense of Kaitsis -- the slave girl is being stolen away to the harem -- but is the Γκιουζέλ-Χανούμ the sultan's harem? Or some other institution of the Osmanli?
